How much fill dirt do I need?
Work in cubic yards: length × width × depth in feet, divided by 27. Fill Dirt runs about 1.35 tons per cubic yard, and our quad-axle trucks haul 35 tons a load. This table gives the coverage for a single cubic yard at common depths.
