CDL operator and laborer.
J1S is hiring one all-around person to grow with the company. You need a valid CDL with a clean driving record, experience running equipment, and a willingness to labor on jobs.
What the job is
Most of our work is prevailing wage, and a lot of it is utility and emergency work. The job changes from day to day. One day you may be in a vac truck. The next day you may be in an excavator or a skid steer.
The work is guaranteed year-round, with overtime. There is room to learn new equipment and take on more as the company grows.
What you need
- A valid CDL with a clean driving record. This is required.
- Operator experience on excavation equipment.
- A willingness to labor on jobs when that is what the day needs.
Who this suits
This job suits you if you like doing something different every day and want steady work with overtime. It does not suit you if you want to go home early every day. Emergency and utility work runs until the job is done.

- Vac trucks for hydro excavation and utility potholing
- Excavators and skid steers for excavation and utility trenching
- CDL trucks for hauling
