Outside our primary area? We take select large projects further afield — reach out and we'll see if it's a fit.

Before You Reach Out

What people
usually ask.

A few of the questions that come up most often when contractors, builders, and homeowners are deciding whether to send us a quote request.

How quickly can you start a project?

For scheduled work, we're typically booking 4–8 weeks out. For smaller jobs (under a week of work), we can sometimes fit you in sooner if there's a gap in the schedule. For emergency hydrovac work, call (636) 465-4226 — 24-hour dispatch.

What size projects do you take on?

Anything from a single-lot homeowner utility run up to multi-phase subdivisions and commercial site work. We don't have a strict minimum or maximum — if it fits our equipment and capability, we'll quote it.

Do you provide free quotes?

Yes — for projects in our service area. We'll come walk the site, ask the questions we need to ask, and send back a written quote within 3–5 business days. For very small or simple jobs, sometimes a phone call is enough.

Do you work with general contractors / are you bondable?

Yes to both. We carry a $5M bond capacity and work as a sub on commercial, municipal, and developer projects regularly. We're happy to provide certificates of insurance, bond letters, and references on request.

Do you handle permits?

For our scope of work, yes — excavation permits, ROW permits, utility connection permits, demolition permits, and so on. If you're working with a GC, we coordinate with their permit pull. If you're a homeowner, we'll walk you through the process.

What information do you need from me to quote?

The minimum is: site address, what you want done, and any timing constraints. Plans, surveys, soil reports, and existing utility info all help us be more accurate — but we can also work from what's available and make assumptions explicit in the quote.
